Positive: Very friendly front desk staff! Nicely renovated with high quality furniture, just a little dark, especially inside the room and bathroom! For woman not practical to apply make up!
Negative: I recently stayed at this hotel, which presents itself as a 5-star property experience, but in my opinion, it aligns more with a 4-star experience. The hotel is quite new and the price we paid was convenient, which made the stay acceptable overall. However, several elements did not meet 5-star expectations, especially the service, which clearly reflects a need for better staff training. In terms of comfort, the mattress lacked a topper (usually expected in 5*) and the pillows were polyester-filled and very uncomfortable. We requested memory foam pillows and received them quickly, but they were still below the expected standard. Upon arrival, I informed reception of a medical dietary requirement (fat-free, no sugars), but this was not accommodated. At breakfast, there was no fat-free yogurt or sugar-free muesli, only sugary granola. The breakfast service itself felt unpolished, and the waitress did not seem trained to a 5-star level. We were also asked to leave the breakfast area to allow setup for lunch, which felt abrupt. When we asked if we could sit in the bar area to continue a conversation with a visiting friend, we were not allowed due to lack of service in that space, and were instead directed to the lobby. This lack of flexibility further highlights the need for improved staff training and a more guest-oriented approach. Additionally, the hotel lacks many amenities expected at this level: no parking, no dinner service, no spa, no pool, no gym, and no personalized services. Overall, this is one of the nicer hotels in the area, and for the price we paid, it was acceptable. However, at a higher rate, it would have been disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, particularly regarding staff training and service quality, as this is the main area needing improvement. With the right adjustments, the hotel has the potential to meet true 5-star standards.
